Empowering Communities Through Outreach and Development
Our mission at Community Transitional Services for Outreach and Development is to empower individuals and families facing homelessness, eviction, domestic violence, and societal reintegration challenges by providing comprehensive support, sustainable resources, and education. We are dedicated to delivering housing assistance, job training, education, and emergency services, while promoting self-sufficiency through green energy initiatives and sustainable farming practices. With a commitment to fostering resilience and long-term stability, we strive to restore dignity, trust, and hope within the communities we serve. Our goal is to become a national leader in community transformation, building stronger, self-sustaining futures for all who seek a path to empowerment and independence.
Why We Are Here
Community Transitional Services for Outreach and Development a program under The Community Hope Foundation is dedicated to empowering underserved communities through comprehensive support. Our mission addresses urgent needs in housing, eviction prevention, training, childcare, and homeless aid, while also offering specialized programs for victims of domestic violence, child abuse survivors, and young adults aging out of foster care. We provide critical assistance to individuals reentering society from shelters, the streets, or the prison system, including job training, CDL certification, and help obtaining identification. Our unique approach includes offering showers, food, and clothing at our facilities, as well as deploying rescue vans to reach those in need. Through initiatives such as after-school programs, toy drives, and fostering natural resource sustainability through farming and green energy education, we aim to not only meet the immediate needs of our community but also empower individuals and families to thrive long-term. We treat every client as part of our extended family, offering compassion and genuine care, rather than just services.
Key Outcomes and Measurable Success
The key outcomes we hope to achieve include reducing homelessness, preventing evictions, and facilitating successful transitions for individuals returning to society from shelters, foster care, or prisons. We aim to see families stabilized through access to safe housing, employment, and training opportunities. Measurable success will be tracked by the number of individuals we successfully help transition into permanent housing, gain employment, and obtain necessary resources like identification, driver’s licenses, and professional training certifications. Additionally, success will be reflected in the trust we build with our clients and the broader community, as we aim to be recognized as the go-to resource for comprehensive community aid.
Community Perception
We want to be perceived as a trusted and reliable cornerstone in our community—an organization that not only provides essential services but does so with genuine care and long-term commitment to the people we serve. We seek to restore hope and dignity, particularly for our street homeless population, who often struggle with broken trust. By offering consistent support, we aim to become the first organization that people turn to in times of need. We prove this with our latest initiatives Promise Nest, The Safety Companion and Mob4SmallBiz.
Scale and Scope
While we currently operate on a local level, our vision is to expand nationally. We want to create a model of holistic community support that can be replicated in other areas facing similar crises. Our long-term goal is to be known not just locally but across the country as a leader in transitional services, helping people rebuild their lives with dignity, respect, and comprehensive resources.
